Company and director records are compiled using open data available to anyone from Companies House. This data is available on various platforms meaning removal from our website would not prevent this data appearing in the public domain.
The most effective way to amend or prevent disclosure of company or director information is to do so at the source. Once altered or removed from the Companies House registry changes will filter through to Company Check and update automatically within 2 to 14 working days. Other platforms may vary.
As a credit reference agency we have a duty to our customers to provide full and accurate records, and therefore while we understand some companies and individuals have reservations about being listed, we cannot delete records on Company Check.
If you are a director, we will happily hide your address.
If your concern is that your details appear in Google, you can fix that with our removal request form.
If you have found that any information displayed is different to that held on the public record, please report it to us and we will investigate and reply to you within 10 working days in most cases.
