Unfortunately we occasionally hear of situations where an individual feels that by having their details available in the public domain, their life is endangered. If you genuinely have concerns over the well being or yourself or your family you should, in the first instances, contact your local police.

In such situations we can do the following to help:

  • remove any Company Check listings containing said address from Google and other search engines

  • hide the address on our website for any visitors coming direct to us (this can only be actioned on director records. We cannot hide company addresses)

We cannot remove the records. The details we hold come from Companies house and are shared amongst hundreds of agencies and websites such as Company Check.

If you believe your safety is compromised you should immediately apply for exemption from your data being made public and/or resold by Companies House to company credit agencies.

This link contains further information regarding the rights of certain individuals to apply for exemption (such as those involved in Life Sciences, Senior Politicians) where there is a high risk element.
