The company status shown on Company Check may not necessarily match the status shown on Companies House.
Companies House are concerned with the existence of a live company i.e. not dissolved. The active status at Companies House refers to the existence of the company.
As a credit reference agency, Company Check is concerned with a business' trading status.
If a company files dormant accounts the business is considered non trading and in this case the status will match.
