Why does a non-limited record appear for a council / GP branch?

We believe the public should be able to access information on any business or organisation including government supported organisations.

As Councils, housing associations and government run organisations such as NHS surgeries and GP practices are not registered as a Limited businesses, we hold records for these companies in our non-limited company database.

Where a Credit risk score and limit is applied to these type of organisations the Company Check algorithm takes into consideration that these businesses are government backed.

The credit limit allocated to government organisations is often higher than a non-limited company (sole trader company) of a similar size as we know the allocated risk of default for these type of organisations are much lower than regular businesses.
