If you see the following as opposed to the Google checkbox reCAPTCHA widget, your computer may not support it and in such cases reCAPTCHA falls back to this alternative.

The minimum browser requirements for the checkbox reCAPTCHA widget are:
Chrome (version 3.0.195)
Firefox (version 3.0)
Internet Explorer (version 7.0)
Opera (version 10.10)
Safari (version 4.0)
If you cannot see any CAPTCHA on the download screen, please upgrade to the latest browser, or if using Internet Explorer, try an alternative.
It just says 'please wait'
This could be due to a browser issue as above or internet connection speed. Please try an alternative browser or where possible a different computer to ensure it is not a connection or local machine issue.
