Payment data accuracy

As a data company, we take information accuracy very seriously, it is the cornerstone of our business. As such, our payment data is subject to stringent accuracy controls and a great deal of time, care and effort is spent on ensuring we accurately identify and attach any information to a company report.

We report Trade Payment Data exactly as it is received from our Trade Partner’s (the suppliers of payment data) who are expressly aware of the issues surrounding incorrect data and the impact it has on companies.

If you believe the information is not reflective of your company's payment history, we will of course check the data with our suppliers for you.

How will the data be disputed?

Our Data Analysts investigate disputed payment data by speaking with the suppliers of that data and verifying the information is correct.

What will be the outcome of a dispute?

In 95% of cases, data is found to be accurate and in this case, no changes will be made, though we will notify you. In the rare instance that updates are required we will let you know as soon as the system has been amended.

Please note that all payment data providers have non-disclosure privacy agreements in relation to their details and payment data, so many suppliers may choose not to release their details.

In rare cases, if the supplier (the company who is querying the data) is happy to be named, we will pass the information on to you to resolve any outstanding payments directly with the supplier.

If you would like to dispute your company's payment data, please use our data investigation form.
